Myrtle Beach makes TripAdvisor's Top 25 U.S. Destinations!

We all know that Myrtle Beach is one of the world's finest vacation destinations and now TripAdvisor has officially recognized it too!

Myrtle Beach made the TripAdvisor list of Top 25 Travelers Choice U.S. Destinations for the first time this year, coming in at #21.  Two cities in South Carolina made the list with Charleston, our nearby neighbor to the South, landing at #15.

New York City topped the list, followed by San Francisco; Chicago; Las Vegas and Orlando with Houston at the end of the list at #25.

Yearly rankings are tallied based on reviews and opinions from TripAdvisor users, including destination popularity and the places that receive the highest ratings by visitors.

“Based on insights from millions of travelers from around the world, the TripAdvisor Travelers’ Choice awards help identify the most highly rated and loved vacation spots,” Barbara Messing, TripAdvisor’s chief marketing officer, said in a news release.
