You've celebrated our nation's birthday in grand style! So what's next? July is anti-boredom month and we’ve put together something for you to do every day for the rest of month just to make sure that boredom isn't part of your summer vocabulary!
Day 5 Buy something patriotic.

Day 6 Slurp a smoothie.Plantation Resort offers discount smoothies every day from 4-6 pm. Try strawberry, orange cream or any variety of the yummy choices.

“Shirts to Dye For” is one of Plantation Resort's most popular activities. Stop by and tie-dye a shirt, scarf or bag to match your unique style.
Day 10 Roll your own sushi!
Plantation Resort offers a Sushi Rollin’ Class where you learn to make your own California rolls.
Day 11 Volunteer to help sea turtles.
Every Friday at 6 am through sea turtle season, Myrtle Beach State Park is taking people along the beach to look for signs of sea turtles and learn what they can do to help keep our beaches safe for our native turtles.
Day 12 Buy some fresh vegetables.
The Deville Street Farmers Market at Market Common shows off the best that local farmers and artists have to offer. The market runs from 10 am until 2 pm so grab your cloth bag and come early so you can spend the day shopping.
Day 13 Make your own sundae.
Plantation Resort will even provide the ingredients at the Sundaes on Sunday activity, 3 pm at the Activity Center.
Day 14 Hug a Mustang car owner.
It’s Mustang week at Broadway at the Beach, so it will be easy to find a Mustang owner, give them a hug and tell them how much you love those souped-up engines.
Day 15 Meet Professor Wonder.
This WonderWorks mascot visits the Plantation Resort Outdoor Pool every Tuesday or you can see him on his home turf at WonderWorks and enjoy a fun day of experiments, learning and fun activities.
Day 16 Take a carriage ride.
What a perfect way to end a relaxing day shopping and dining at the Market Common. The Market Common is now offering complimentary carriage rides beginning at Dolce Lusso from 6-9 pm.
Day 17 Listen to music from your lawn chair.
If you love music, you’re sure to enjoy Music on the Green at the Market Common. Bring your lawn chair to Valor Park at the Market Common where you can listen to live bands every Thursday from 7-10 pm.
Day 18 Watch an outdoor movie.
Enjoy the unique experience of playing in the Outdoor Pool at Plantation Resort while you watch the movie of the week. The movie begins at dark every Wednesday and Friday through the summer.
Day 19 Swing a club for the elderly.
Wedgefield Plantation is hosting the 2nd Annual Carolinian Inn Mission Project Golf Tournament which donate proceeds to creating housing for seniors. Tee time begins at 8:30 am on the 19th.
Day 20 Barefoot SummerFest at Barefoot Landing.
Barefoot Landing invites everyone to enjoy SummerFest where you can have your face painted, listen to music and watch stilt walkers.
Day 21 Eat yummy pizza from a family-owned restaurant.
Experience the warm, friendly atmosphere of Lazer’s Pizza where they love to make friends with their customers and serve pizza loaded (and I mean loaded) with your favorite toppings.
Day 22 Buy a hammock from Pawley’s Island.
The 22nd is Hammock day and what better way to celebrate than to check out Pawley’s Island, famous for their beautiful hammocks.
Day 23 Achieve a hole-in-one.
Sign up for an Indigo Creek shootout. They offer specials to Plantation Resort guests so go and enjoy beautiful Indigo Creek golf course.
Day 24 Take a helicopter ride.
Oceanfront Helicopters will take you on an incredible sightseeing tour over the beach and around the Grand Strand.
Day 25 Create a magical name for yourself.
For enchantment and interactive excitement, come to Magicquest and find the wand that fits your personality. Take on mythical creatures as you pursue your magical quest through the arena and cast spells with your personal wand.
Day 26 Sink a shot on a sunken ship.
Shipwreck Island Mini Golf will take you on an adventure through a shipwreck themed course. What a great way to spend time with the family.
Day 27 Talk like a pirate.
It’s always “Talk like a Pirate Day” at Pirate’s Voyage where you enjoy swashbuckling entertainment while partaking of a feast worthy of a true buccanneer.
Day 28 Ask a balloon artist to make you a wiener dog.
It’s the Boardwalk Kidz Carnival! Experience kid bands, inflatables, face painting, a caricature artist, games, stilt walking and a balloon artist. The party runs from 7-10 pm.
Day 29 Eat some delicious ravioli.
It’s a great night for Italian and Capriz will satiate anyone’s need for pasta. It’s an impressive experience to eat here as the waiters bring the buffet to you, serving you amazing Italian dishes right at your table for as long as you can eat.
Day 30 Take a stroll past a live band.
The Market Common will offer live bands in the gazebos by the shopping center and a face painter for the children. It’s a great atmosphere for you to enjoy the scenery and shopping at the Market Common.
Day 31 Win some money.
Lottery Bingo at Plantation Resort is a great activity if you love that feeling of yelling out BINGO at the end of a round and the prize for winning is a scratch-off lottery ticket.
